100 NFT Collection
The Art of the Surreal is a collection of 100 NFT’s based on the surreal clay sculpture Eternal Thoughts of a Mortal Mind. The futuristic imagery, vivid colors, and mind bending animations represent the ever expanding mind and capacity to think beyond the scope of reality.
Each NFT is considered original since no two are the same. With only a few angles available and one angle used just once, some NFTs are more rare than others.
[History] The original art is a hand carved clay sculpture roughly life size, created by artist DAY. He began the sculpture in 1997 fully completing by July 1998. In August, 2021 the futuristic artwork was transformed into the growing NFT collection you see here.
A number of NFTs were designed for entertainers like DJ’s to be projected onto walls at night clubs and raves to create surreal, other worldly environments.
